Quilting with Curves by Daisy Aschehoug

Today I am excited to be the next stop on Daisy Aschehoug‘s Blog Hop for her brand new book with C&T called Quilting with Curves. The book has 20 gorgeous projects to make with quarter circle squares. Daisy makes this technique easy with her guidance for all aspects of curved piecing.

Sewing Curves

Beginners who have never sewed curves can easily follow along with the projects, and all quilters can take away valuable tips on creating original designs. Moreover, advanced quilters can challenge themselves by combining several curved techniques. It’s easy to love a book with projects that range in difficulty level and are doable for quilters of all skill levels.

What I love about the projects in the book is the various sizes of the quilts. Many of the quilts in this book are on the larger size, and I adore a quilt that is oversized which allows me to wrap my whole body in it. I’m already plotting which quilt I’m going to make first. Just need to finish a few more UFOs. Below are a couple of my absolute favorites from the book:

My Quilting with Curves Mini

I took some of the templates from the book and stitched up this simple little mug rug from some scraps. I was able to whip this up in about an hour thanks to Daisy’s wonderful instructions and my willingness to throw caution to the wind to start a new project.

GIVEAWAY: C&T has offered a digital copy of Quilting with Curves for one randomly selected visitor. Enter at my Instagram here.

Don’t forget to visit the remaining stops on the Blog Hop, I’m in good company🥰:
