How much does it cost?
Medium density edge to edge patterns are $.02 per square inch, except where noted on the patterns page. If you would like a smaller/tighter density of stitching there may be a small price increase, please note on the form or contact me for info. I have a $40 minimum charge for e2e.
Total cost will include e2e design, thread cost, batting cost (if needed), and backing seam cost (if needed).
Example:
Quilt measures 50″ x 70″
50 x 70 = 3500 inches
3500 x $0.02 = $70 for e2e design
What do I need to provide?
Your finished quilt top
Backing that is 8″ longer and 8″ wider than the quilt top
Batting that is 6″ longer and 6″ wider than the quilt top
Batting
You may provide your own batting (make sure it’s at least 6″ longer and 6″ wider than quilt top).
I offer The Warm Company Warm100 for $10 per yard or Warm 80/20 for $8 per yard.
Do you piece quilt backs?
Yes for a $10 fee per seam.
I will pattern match the print on your backing for $15 per seam *Additional 1/2yd needed on length of fabric for pattern matching.
Not available for minky.
Thread
There is a flat $8 charge for thread on all quilts.
Shipping
You can pick up or drop off quilt tops if you are in the Houston Metro area. I am located in Tomball, TX.
Estimated return shipping costs:
Crib size and throws usually fit in Medium Flat Rate: $20ish
Twin, Double, Queens & King usually fit in Large Flat Rate: $30ish
I will use other packaging if it’s less expensive or too large for a flat rate box.
How do I pay?
Nothing is due until the quilt is ready to pick up or ship to you. I accept cash, Apple Pay, check, Venmo, or PayPal. Paypal requires additional 4% to cover fees.
What kind of machine do you use?
I use a Grace q’nique 19 with QCT Plus. It is a computerized system for quick turnaround and professional results.
How big of a quilt top will you accept?
Up to 100″ wide
How long will my quilt take?
Quilts are finished on a first come, first serve basis. Turnaround time is usually around 3 weeks. Please contact me if you need a detailed turnaround.
Rush can be done for additional fee depending on turnaround and size.
