The other night after I finished my Marcelle Medallion (pictures coming soon) I sat down and thought of every craft/sewing project I have in the works, and made a master list of unfinished items. I am a bit embarassed that it has 20 things on it! I honestly didn’t think it was that many haha.
So from this point on (I’ll probably break this rule) I am not going to start any other projects without first finishing some from my WIP list. I think A Lovely Year of Finishes and the 2014 Finish Along will be great motivators for this. I work better with set deadlines or goals.

How many projects have y’all had in the works all at once?
Wow! That is one long list! My list for the year only has about 8 things…but I keep adding to the "I wanna make this someday" list. Lol. Good luck with your WIP! And those are some gorgeous WIP you have there!!
your work is beautiful and I too need to make a master list of things that need finishing.
Thank you so much! Some of these are from 2009, so I have been building this list for several years lol I've finally gotten to the point where I need to get some things cleared out.
Wow, what a list! I can't do more than one thing at once. Best of luck with it all. I love the grey/rainbow chevrons quilt!
visiting from WIP Wednesday. Love the chevron style quilt. You have a lot on your plate at the moment. I can't bring myself to do a list as it would get near 50 items I reckon.
Wow! That's a lot of wip's! I'm unusual in the quilting world……i don't tend to have wip's! However – I currently have 3! That's a record for me! But now the kids are back at school i plan on attacking them!
So many Project – good luck to get them finished soon ๐
Oh man, I feel ya!
I am LOVING that winterbound quilt!
I am trying to do the same thing. though technically i did just start a new project last night. that gray arrows quilt is super pretty. good luck reducing your WIPs!
I love the quilt in the second picture – such lovely colors! Good luck tackling your list!
Love the quilt on the park bench! But then again, I'm a sucker for grey with pops of colour. In terms of how many projects I usually have on the go, it varies greatly. If I'm making a lot of time for sewing, I tend to finish things, but if my sewing is more sporadic, I often end up with a pile of WiPs. I just want to start new stuff with my prime sewing time. ๐
Looks like you'll be busy for a while! Not sure I want to make a list of all my WIPs…that might be scary!
I think that I've tempered my sewing ADHD somewhat in the past year or two. My favorite part is the cutting and putting the first few blocks together… and then I get bored sometimes. Right now I have two tops that need to be quilted and two BOM projects that just started that will be ongoing all year and one hand quilting monstrosity that I have been working on for an embarassingly long time. Which is a huge improvement on what it usually is!
wowsers, ok I feel better about my WIP list teehee!
Stopping by from Lee's hop http://www.domesticdeficitdisorder.blogspot.com/2014/01/wednesday-wip-jan-29th.html
I blogged about my list today, too! I have 13 in progress, and 2 I'd like to start soon.
I would probably start crying if I listed all my WIPs. Sewing ADD is such a great description for it! ๐
Oh man, more than two going at the same time and I get pretty stressed out. And frustrated because my progress is SO slow on them because I'm jumping around so much. I like having two because if I get stuck on one I can work on the other, and keep the piles of fabric separate. I keep a list on my sewing room wall of what I'll make next, and usually start brainstorming for it before I'm done with my current project.
Oh, how well I know the feeling of sewing ADHD! *looks at the litter of half-finished projects in her quilting room*
I really like the 'snowballs, stars, and squares' quilt with the grey background and the blue-grey-purple fabrics – very pretty – and a good use of scraps, I'll bet!
Lovely work all over!
