Hello darlings! I’m posting this later than normal because my Monday had a case of the Mondays. Thankfully a good night sleep has remedied any yucky feeling from yesterday, and I’m ready for a do-over for this week.
If you follow me on Instagram you know I’ve still been working away on my #100days100blocks. I’m planning on working ahead on my blocks so that when baby arrives all I need to do is post the picture.
I’ve been doing a lot of foundation paper piecing for the swaps that I’m in, and I just love how precise the blocks turn out! The Geometric Sewing Machine is for the #quietplayswap, and the center star and create are for the #makerstoteswap.
The left and right pictures are patterns by Kristy from Quiet Play. I love Kristy’s patterns and she offers a ton of free ones! The center star is a little 3 inch star pattern that I found by googling small paper pieced star pattern lol. You can find it here.
Here are some of the great projects that were shared last week:
Kathy from Running with Rocket created this wonderful travel wallet!
Cynthia from Quilting is More Fun than Housework created this stunning tumbler quilt.
Finally Teje of Neros Post made this lovely storm at sea mini quilt and entered it in the Small Quilts Category of the #BloggersQuiltFestival!
Now it is time to link up your finishes or works in progress from the previous week! You can link up directly from Instagram as well – be sure to tag #SewCuteTuesday and @youngtexanmama on IG so we can see what you’re working on!
Thank you for sharing my tumbler quilt again. I hope your Tuesday went well. Thanks for hosting!
Love all you Swap Projects!! Totally things I want to make!
Your pp blocks look great! Thanks for hosting today.
