The holiday’s are upon us and shopping has commenced, below you will find the perfect gift guide for quilters. Whether they’ve been quilting for decades, or have just gotten into the craft you’re sure to find something perfect for them in this list.
Money or a Gift Card
A lot of people will put this as the last item on a gift guide for quilters, but honestly it should be the first. As makers we have a laundry list of things we want or need, and receiving the funds to make that happen is sometimes the best solution. If you’re opposed to giving cash, then a gift card to their favorite quilt shop is a great option!
Fat Quarter Bundle or Precuts
As much as we say we don’t need more fabric, we definitely want more fabric. The best way to get fabric for the quilter in your life is in a bundle for precut form. That way you don’t have to worry about how much yardage to purchase. Right now Pink Door Fabrics has Designer Mystery Boxes, just choose their favorite designer or theme.
Quilting & Sewing Themed Clothing
Everyone loves merch… these are a few of my favorites. Each image is linked. 💖
Oliso Iron
An Oliso Iron is definitely a luxury iron, making it a perfect gift option. I have the purple version that I added a sticker to so that it didn’t get mixed up with another one while at retreat. One thing I love about my Oliso is that it gets HOT, I can’t speak to how the steam works because I am team no liquid in irons. But friends have mentioned it works well. At Quilt Market they introduced a new Raspberry M3Pro, and of course there’s the amazing Tula Pink collection.
Upgraded Lighting
Having good lighting is essential when working on any craft and I love lights by The Daylight Company. In my space I use the Luminos lamp, and they recently came out with a smaller version called the Lumi.
Quilting & Sewing Books
Quilting and sewing books are another great option for a gift. I’ve linked several of my favorites in my Amazon Storefront HERE, and I’m constantly adding more.
Accuquilt Cutting System
Just like the Oliso Iron, and Accuquilt system would fall into the luxury gift category. Getting one of the kits is an investment but they make a great option for the quilter who is looking for an easier way to cut fabric. The GO!Me is a great starter kit or you could go big and get the GO! Big Electric Fabric Cutter Starter Set.
