This summer has been so long, and unfortunately, I haven’t gotten as much done as I would like, but overall it has still been a pretty great summer. Below are a few of the events from the Jordan Family summer 2020.
Most recently we adopted my parent’s dog, Cooper. โค He was originally my dog, I adopted him after Hurricane IKE in 2008, but then my landlord found out so I took him home to my mom and dad. Well, 10+ years later and he’s home with me again. ๐
My only finished garment project is my Seamwork Willis shirt. It is a quick make… unless you let it sit without buttons and a sleeve binding for over a month. ๐๐
The kiddos started a YouTube channel. My oldest has wanted to start a YouTube channel for a couple of years so this year was when we finally bit the bullet and did it! Their channel is called Billy James Games and I love how their creativity and confidence is growing with each video we make.
My big quilty project for the summer was my #JollyBarRowAlong quilt. This was a Sew Along with Fat Quarter Shop and it features their exclusive Jolly Bar precut. I LOVED making this quilt and I am so happy with how the quilt top turned out. Getting the quilt quilted is on my to-do list and I’ll probably keep it pretty simple. โค
And with that the Jordan Family summer recap is over. ๐ What have y’all been up to this summer? It has definitely been a strange one for sure.
