Happy Valentine’s Day and Sew Cute Tuesday! Like I mentioned in my Catching Up post, it has been a whirlwind past couple of weeks, and I need a huge cup of coffee or a nap! 😁 Little Sam had his 4 month well check yesterday and he’s in the 80th percentile for his weight and height!
I haven’t done a ton of sewing recently, but I did finally mail my blocks to the January queen for the #rockinblockbee. The queen requested flying geese with bright colors and low volume, so I dug in my stash and found these pretties! I think my favorite is the butterfly print.
Here are some of the pretty projects shared at the last Sew Cute Tuesday:
Céline of Accroquilt made this awesome Star Wars quilt! Her grandson is a lucky boy!
Micki of 2 Dogs Studios finished this beautiful quilt made from upcycled shirts! Love that the blocks were a leader/ender project.
Anja Quilts created this super useful First Aid zipper pouch! I really need to make one of these since William is quite clumsy and also loves band-aids for even the tiniest of boo-boos.
Now it is time to link up your finishes or works in progress from the previous week! You can link up directly from Instagram as well – be sure to tag #SewCuteTuesday and @youngtexanmama on IG so I can see what you’re working on!
Babies grow so fast! I miss those days…but I had my turn! Love flying geese and just finished making some myself!
I like the butterflies as well. The small pouch is a good size for a small first aid kit, but I should have made the medium size.
