Spring cleaning this year is extra important for us because we are moving out of our duplex in May, and we want to make sure we get as much of our deposit back as possible. On top of that, we really do not want to pack and move a bunch of stuff that we know we are going to get rid of (like old baby clothes and toys). So I thought it would be super fun to do a little mini spring cleaning/packing & moving series over the next few weeks.
Since the weather in Texas is so scattered; this past Monday there was a high of 60, and the rest of the week the highs are in the 80’s. I normally like to start my spring cleaning around Spring Break. That way the weather is nice, Jeff is out of school and can entertain the little guy, and I can be super productive and get tons done! Well that’s how it works in theory.
I found an amazing Spring Cleaning checklist from Melissa over at The Happier Homemaker, and I am going to use that as my rough guide as to what I want to accomplish in each room of the house. She also has some great guides about refreshing your wardrobe, home decor, and hair & makeup routine for spring.
